So I've had this Windows 7 disc lying around. I was waiting till I had an external hard drive so I could save all my stuff. Part of my plan was to dual boot Windows and Linux. Well yesterday I decided to dual boot early while I still had Vista. Unfortunately something, somewhere went horribly wrong. My PC wouldn't boot into either OS so i had to fresh install Windows 7. On the plus side i no longer have Vista and that factory installed crap isn't on there. On the minus side...I lost 35 gigs of music, 156 gigs of anime and all of my Photshop stuff. Needless to say in won't be doing and digital art in a long time. Luckily I had recently saved some anime on disc but that was a mere fraction by comparison. I only had a bit of my music on my PSP. I think it was like 1.7 gigs worth. Now I'm not so sure if I want to dual boot anymore. I need to get my own person server with several Terabytes of space with some of the drives running in RAID 0 and some in RAID 1. Then I'll have more space than I need and the security in case something like this happens again. I suppose Lady Luck didn't favor me today. Anyway I've got most of the important programs back. Well hopefully nothing else happens.

Well today..., well yesterday, I learned that I can't play Shattered Horizon. That annoys me to no end. I got this computer for two reasons. 1. For school, cuz it's a laptop and therefore mobile. 2. So that I'd be able to play any pc game that came out for at least the next few years. Shattered Horizon, however, is way to advanced for this pc and therefore I'm forced to try and accelerate my job hunt. AZ is like the worst place to try and find a job. I applied for Radioshack a few hours ago but, I don't know if I'll get it. I really hope so. Then I can get a pc that is strictly for gaming. A custom built, hardcore beast of a machine. That's the plan anyway. I mean I can still use this one for gaming, just not the hardcore games.

I'm going without sleep today, which isn't a good idea. On the plus side math is cancelled so I'll have more time to get some other stuff done. I may even play Dawn of War 2 before english class. Hopefully my lab partner in A+ isn't mad at me. Last thursday I was sick so I couldn't come in and I forgot to tell him and my instructor. Actually let me rephrase that, I hope my A+ teacher isn't going to be made. I've got to get my homework for the next couple weeks done so I can play Modern Warfare 2 without worry when it comes out. That game will be EPIC!!! Anyway I should probably go. I have to wake my cousin up for school in like half an hour.
